I have the same problem, Sky Go app goes goes grey when trying to open on my MacBook, running same system as you. Have also tried downloaded new version but to no avail.
It went off yesterday morning and it hasn't worked since. Unfortunately no solution as yet. Many posts in this forum re Sky Go not working on Macs.
Is there a plan to fix this or should we take our business elsewhere? I have exactly the same issue ,just tried again after the latest Mojave update no joy just same result the app won t load fully.
Just waiting for Sky to reslove this issue ,discovered on other post that they just refer you to Apple, if anyone has a fix please help.
I create a new user profile on my Macbook air installed the Sky app and it works like a dream not ideal as I have to swich users to access sky but it works and maybe fixed in a futue update.
Thanks for this, having the same problem and the fix worked.. I have tried everything to fix this on my main user profile to no avail, Anonymous any advice?!?
Sky will not respond to you here as this is a customer helps customer forum. Have you tried what has posted above and created a new profile on your Mac and then installed the app via it?
I've actually just solved the issue, no new user account, no clearing cache or deleting files from Library.. Just keep pressing retry when the connection fails, eventually after the 3rd or 4th attempt you'll be asked to either 'retry' or 'continue', by continueing it says it'll log you out of the app etc.

I have the error code message and cant work out how to get it to connect never had a problem connecting with my laptop fir two years same router same everything until the katestbupdate now unable to load configuration error reloaded and uninstalled numerous times made it work once or twice by resetting router but wontnwork now.
